How to Make a Referral

Referrals

All pets treated at the Animal Cancer Center of Texas must have a referral. You can call us at 210-962-5388 Ext 3 or email us at  to provide the referral information or use our referral form here.

Scheduling

Once we receive a referral, we will reach out to your client to schedule a consultation or they can contact our office directly to schedule as well.

Medical Records

Please send all pertinent medical records, labwork, cytology and histology, and imaging (images and reports) to us via email.

Diagnosis

Important! We only see patients with a definitive cancer diagnosis or a very high suspicion for cancer (ie. mass seen on ultrasound, bone lesion on radiographs).

Consultation

After consultation with us, you will receive a written report via email or fax (whichever you designate) and you will continue to receive any follow-up reports whenever the pet is seen at our hospital. We will provide detailed instructions if any follow-up evaluation is required at your hospital.

Questions

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your client or patient, please contact us at any time. We encourage and respect your feedback.
